Suggested Itineraries
Golf – When the surrounding region is enveloped in snow, the Lewis Clark Valley residents are hitting the links. Golf is a year round sport here with some locals playing golf everyday. Gather your buddies and spend a few days working on your handicap. We have 4 courses, 2 private and 2 public, to choose from as well as Gateway Golf Center, a pro shop, teaching and practice facility on the river. Each has its own unique personality and is equally challenging with panoramic views. Visit our Golfing page for course contact information and book your tee time now. We also have several golf getaway packages for you to choose from.
History Buffs – Start at one of the local museums in Asotin or Lewiston to immerse yourself in the area’s history. Book a ghost tour with downtown Lewiston’s history expert, Garry Bush. Make a stop at the Nez Perce National Historical Park to learn about the area’s first residents, the Nez Perce. The park rangers can direct you to a myriad of historical Nez Perce sites. Top off your stay with a 1/2-day, full day or overnight trip into Hells Canyon. Jet boat captains will regale you with tales of pioneer adventures, mining lore and Nez Perce stories. The tour stops at key points along the way to view ancient petroglyphs, a shipwreck site and Kirkwood Ranch where artifacts and photographs reflecting the history of the area are housed.
